I recently visited the Chanel counter in Boots and was lucky enough to try out the new Ombre Premiere Eyeshadow Collection. The collection features two new textures, cream and powder, both with a long lasting effect. There are 24 shades in the collection, with multiple finishes, including matte, metalic and satiny.
When I arrived at the counter, the regional makeup artist for Chanel greeted me and introduced me to the new range. She then began matching up the colours best suited to my skin tone and eye colour. As I have greeny/blue eyes, she was looking to match me with a colour that would make my eye colour pop and brighten my eyes.
We decided to use both textures using a layering effect in order to create a soft smoky eye. The shades she picked were Sable 28 and Desert Rouge 36 in the powder range, along with Pourpre Profond 810 and Scintillance 804 in the cream range.
I was amazed at how pigmented the shadows were and I love the way the cream and powder eyeshadows blended perfectly.
The look was completed with the Le Gel Sourcils Eyebrow Gel in Transparent 350 and the Imitable Intense Mascara in Noir 10.
I am in love with the new range and I was so impressed with my finished look. The product did not budge all day, so I was happy to invest in this amazing range.
It didn’t take long to apply these products and I would feel comfortable in this look in both the day and night.
The shades are incredible and I would definitely recommend you try out these products.
