My favourite makeup products this month!

This month I have purchased several items which I have fallen in love with and I thought I would share them with you!

I am always on the look out for new make-up products to try out and reading reviews on them help me decide on what to buy, so I am hoping this post may  help some of you.

This month I was lucky enough to take a trip to Paris with my boyfriend. Whilst I was there I was amazed to find that we were staying five minutes away from Sephora. So of course I had to stock up on a few new items and this palette was one of the items I purchased.

The palette is called The Delicate and features some amazing nude, bronze and golden eye shadows which I absolutely adore. I feel that the colours are perfect for this season and they’re so pigmented and long lasting – if you’re looking for a small eye shadow palette to add to your collection, I would definitely recommend you check this one out!

The second product I am loving this month is the Urban Decay All Nighter Liquid Foundation. Before trying this product I heard mixed reviews about it, but I decided give it a go anyway. This foundation gives full coverage, which is perfect for a night out or a long day at work. Unlike many other full coverage foundations I’ve tried, it’s not too thick and it still lets my skin breathe which is amazing. I’ve actually started to mix this foundation with my Double Wear and it’s become one of my new favourites.

When shopping at the Urban Decay counter I also decided to pick up the Afterglow Highlighter in the shade Sin. This highlighter promotes itself as lasting 8 hours and I can honestly say it does the trick! I usually wear this highlighter every day to work and it’s been staying on my face without me having to use any setting spray which is amazing. I probably wouldn’t use the product for a night out because it’s still quite subtle, but it’s brilliant for everyday use.

The last product I recommend you try out is a NYX Intense Butter-Gloss. I love this range and have tried out many shades, but the one I am loving at the minute is the shade Chocolate Crepe. This shade is a dark brown shade, with hints of red and is perfect for this season. I would wear this product both day and night, as it goes with almost any outfit. This gloss also lasts all day which is always a bonus.

So there you have my favourite makeup products of the month. There are so many items I am loving at the moment and I am always on the hunt for more – let me know what products you recommend I try this season!

My August Lip Product Round Up!

This month I have been totally obsessed with trying out new lip products.
Although I usually tend to stick to traditional lipsticks, I decided to try out some alternatives and I absolutely love them.

I decided to choose my favourite four and show you why I will definitely be keeping them in my makeup bag for September!

Too Faced Melted Metal – Melted Metallic Macaron  £18.00

This liquified metalic lipstick is the perfect texture and colour for a summers day. The texture of this product does not leave your lips feeling sticky, which is always a bonus when looking for lipsticks and glosses.

This lipstick also lasts several hours and you are able to build up a bolder colour if needed. I tend to only use a small amount of the product to gain a light pink shade but if a lot of the product is applied you can gain a bright pigmented pink colour.

MAC Lusture – See Sheer    £15.50

This lipstick is one of MAC’s classics. I love the coral tones of this product and also how it lasts throughout the whole day. Although the price is higher than some drugstore brands, you will be sure to find that the texture and tone of this product is totally worth it.

MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer – Tranquility    £3.00

Not only is the price of this product amazing, but this matte lipgloss is the perfect dupe for the Kylie Matte Lip Kits. I love the texture of this lip lacquer, along with the fact that it sure to stay on throughout the day. With this product only costing £3.00 it would be rude not to try it out!

NYX Lingerie – Exotic £6.50

This matte lip gloss is similar to the MUA Luxe product previously mentioned, but I feel that the quality is much better as it does not leave your lips feeling dry and cracked. This product still has the same lasting effect as other high street matte lip glosses, but I feel that the texture and application of this product allows it to the be the best budget matte lip gloss.

The colour is a little darker than the other products I have chose this month, but it is my go-to lip gloss when I am going out of a meal or cocktails in the evening.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this review.
It would be great to hear which products you are loving this month!
